8th-Grade Family Resources

Hello 8th-Grade Families,

We're excited to share two helpful resources to support your family in planning for high school!

Xello, an engaging online program designed to help your student build the skills, knowledge, and plans they need to succeed in high school and beyond. 

On Wednesday, Dec. 11, you will receive an activation email to set up your Xello Family account. Simply click the link in the email to create a password and get started. The link will expire 17 days after you receive the email, so please be sure to activate your account as soon as possible. Once you’ve set up your account, you’ll be able to view all your children’s profiles linked to your account.

Your Xello Family account provides you with access to your child’s goals and plans, helping you support their development along the way. If a section is empty, it means your child has not yet completed that activity, but you can still explore what they’ve worked on so far.

Xello helps students understand themselves better, explore career options, and develop the 21st-century skills essential for future success. With Xello, your child will:

• Build Self-Knowledge: Define their interests, skills, and aspirations, and explore opportunities that fit their goals.

• Explore Career Options: Learn about career possibilities and educational pathways through engaging content and lessons.

• Create a Plan: Develop a dynamic, actionable plan that outlines steps to achieve their school, career, and life goals.

• Learn & Interact: Participate in interactive lessons that help your child gain age-appropriate skills and knowledge for success in school and beyond.
